DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTIONS

The WM 03 is an instrument for measuring and controlling the electric parameters of resistance welders, such as spot, projection, seam, butt welders.

CONTROL

It checks the quality of the effected welds by comparing the measured parameters with samples values previously stored and signals any faulty weld (out of parameters) with a message on the display and an alarm contact.

ANALYSIS

The measured current RMS represents the average value during the whole weld. By this function it is possible to read on the display period by period the last welding sequence.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

. measuring of a single part of a welding sequence

. measuring of sequences with pulses or different cold times (without flowing of current)

. measuring of sequences with 2 or more current adjustments

. measuring of long sequences (also with indefinite time)

WORKING WITH PRINTER

The instrument is prearranged to be connected to a suitable table printer, that can be purchased separately. It can print the parameters of all the effected welds, N welds, or just the welds with alarm.

WORKING WITH PERSONAL COMPUTER

An optional software is available on CD ROM for WINDOWS, providing you the following possibilities, through a standard PC:

-                                         Visualize just in time the parameters of the effected welds, store and process them for statistics and certifications.

-                                         Obtain a graphic profile of the last welding sequence, that can be analysed period by period to point out problems of functioning.
